Electrode Life

Being a professional TENS electrode manufacturer, we have TENS electrodes for any placement sites and skin types.

We strictly follow the highest standard for electrodes from USA for our production and quality control, e.g. gel life, adhesive tack, biocompatibility and etc.

No matter it is non-woven cloth, foam or tan tricot backing, LIXPAD electrode has the highest integral intensity.
For other electrodes, the minimum withstanding pulling force for lead wire is less than 6 pounds, while LIXPAD's is more than 10 pounds.

Prewired electrode using habit survey:
We've done a survey among 30 people who never used prewire electrodes before. For the round ones, more than 90% of them peel instinctively from the wire, and above 80% for other shapes of prewire electrodes.
            
We believe it is vital important for our products conform to the habit of the general public, so we make LIXPAD prewired electrodes very durable with higher integral intensity. This allows patients removing by pulling up from the lead wire without causing damage to the structure. As a result, life span for LIXPAD electrodes is longer than others.
   



Gel Performance - All-weather gel
Generally, the number of electrode reuses will vary from patient to patient depending on skin conditions, skin preparation, type of stimulation, storage, climate, use, care and etc.
As to gel reuses, LIXPAD follows the standard for US highest quality gel.
When skin is cleaned and dried, humidity has the greatest impact on gel reuses. Here is performance reference for LIXPAD All-weather gel:

Other features:
  1. No painful hair pull when peeling from skin;
  2. Has good adhesive tack for sweaty or unpretreated skin;
  3. Adhesion between gel and conductive element is very good;
  4. LIXPAD is also able to provide special gel according to customers' requirement, including gel for D.C. current.

Electrode Conductor - Super-conductive carbon film
The Super-conductive carbon film for LIXPAD TENS electrodes has the best conductivity amongs same type of electrodes. Surface impedance of most carbon film is above 200ohms, while Super-conductive carbon film is only 100 ohms, 50% lower.
Thus LIXPAD carbon film base electrodes have the most uniform current distribution, eliminating hot spots and maximizing stimulation comfort.
 


Soft and Flexibility
All LIXPAD electrodes have moderate soft and flexibity. Electrodes will not comply to skin completely if they are too hard, and not convenient to use if too soft and flexible.

Leadwire Connector
No matter it is shrinkable or molded connector, they offer smooth & grip connection and accepts variations in lead wire pins from 1.95mm~2.15mm, fitting for various kinds of TENS on market.
